Panel Discussion Supporting Fair Mobility in Europe

Faire Mobilität

30 years of the European Single Market – and there is still much to be done to make a social Europe a reality. In the European labour market, many mobile workers who work across borders suffer from poor working conditions and are pushed into highly precarious employment. Moreover, they are often cheated out of their workers’ rights in certain sectors such as international road transport, construction, seasonal agricultural work or the meat industry.

In this current Hans Böckler Foundation policy paper, Jan Cremers takes the EU aquis in the area of free movement of workers as a starting point to analyse trade union challenges and address the role of additional support measures for mobile workers.

The Minister for Federal and European Affairs of the State of Hessen Lucia Puttrich, the DGB - German Trade Union Confederation and the Hans-Böckler-Foundation cordially invite you to a
